A firsthand account of living and working on the USS Monitor and its tragic sinking in December 1862. Edited by Robert W. Daly, Professor, U.S. Naval Academy. Copyright 1964 by U.S. Naval Institute, Annapolis, Maryland.
Condition: Some cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. Some discoloration to the dust jacket and a small tear, as well as some water damage. There is some waviness to a few of the pages toward the back of the book as a result of the water contact, but this is minimal. There is a mark from the water on the back cover.
